In late 2009 the project was born SombraS of the hands and voices Dani (vocals and guitar), Roger (drums) and CarlesSans (guitar, vocals) with the aim of creating a band of national HardRock folkies lines. Absorbing knowledge and other magical concoctions which appeared knightJosep "Pipu" to the four strings that quickly became essential stomach band. The initial group consists of four was lame, something was missing. An elf armed with flute and whistle, Pau "Hamelín", mesmerized the four gentlemen and became an essential part of providing the basis SombraS classical technique to the band. The years 2010 and 2011 served as the filming, both as direct garage, tanning to shadows in dozens of battles throughout Catalonia (finalists "Emergenzza" and Brot'11) and sharing the stage with great bands like Ankor sisters and Doria, among many others.

SombraS has been influenced by great bands constants of the metal and rock bands like Mägo de Oz, Saurom, Ñu, Obús, Saratoga and Sôber. Still, the band from Barcelona also has drawn from folk, epic and European pay Turisas, Eluveitie and Korpiklanni.

SombraS claims to be from the beginning formation of folk & rock bands but without falling into the convention and monotony, trying every day to provide a rich variety of styles and adaptability to modern times, leading to stroke in the composition of the topics the progressive and new wave of international character.
